Coffee of Greece

During the trip in Platamonas we visited several cafeterias where we tried variety of coffees. Our attention was most drawn to Frappe coffee and Greek coffee.

Coffe Frappe

Did you know that … Coffee Frappe was created by accident caused by a Nestle employee, who had no access to hot water, so he added coffee to cold water and spilled it from glass to glass in order to make foam.
In cafeterias employees should ask you how to serve your coffee: with milk and sugar or only with one of these ingredients.

Greek Coffee

One of the more interesting things you don’t know about Greek coffee is that it comes from Turkey. This coffee is made of finely ground coffee, which is brewed in melting pot. Good coffee includes foam. WORTH KNOWING! Original Greek coffee doesn’t included milk.

In our opinion those coffees are delicious and worth to taste.
